Customer Reviews

Have you ever tried venison meat?

Actually, it is very common among Australia and Europe.

This Venison Diced Shoulder is 100% grass-fed from New Zealand.

Succulent, juicy and delicately flavoured, lean venison. 😋

👍🏻Rich in protein and low in fat

🔥Can be pan-fried or slow-cooked.

All sustainably raised in a paddock, surrounded by grass and fresh air. You can taste the difference.

✅ First Light venison comes from farm raised deer, with consideration for the welfare of both the animal and our environment, resulting in delicate flavour and guaranteed tenderness.

👍🏻Good venison comes from young deer that have led a healthy, low stress life, and that’s what First Light pride themselves on producing every time.

About First Light

Until 30 years ago red deer were wild animals. They’re domesticated now, but still need careful handling so we farm them as small herds on large pastures. First Light young venison is delicate, mild flavoured and super tender. Cook it fast and hot, or simmer it low and slow for the afternoon — its healthy, it’s interesting and most importantly its delicious!
